I am interested personally in the topics of professional/team enablement (including but not limited to productivity challenges, focus & prioritisation, process improvement and facilitation techniques), data practices (including data engineering, analytics & business intelligence, and data observability), and finally career development.
Here’s what I think I can contribute meaningfully on:
• How to develop field & technical enablement programmes for teams and coach individuals, especially those in working in fast-paced, software companies. I think about such topics a lot, both at work and in my personal time.
• Writing collaborations on common topics. I enjoy working with other writers on topics that interest both our audiences, such as those I mentioned above.
• Speaking at conferences or podcasts. Grateful for opportunities to discuss and share my experience about enterprise data platforms, building & leading data teams, etc.
• Mentoring LGBTQ+ individuals and people from under-represented groups on career development. I have first-hand experience of the tech/software industry not been a safe and welcoming place if you are different and I am a strong advocate for better and stronger LGBTQ+ visibility in the industry, more inclusion and greater diversity.
